| U-Value is a measure of the transfer of energy through a material from outside to inside the dwelling or building. It follows that the lower the U-Value the better, as less energy will pass through the material; either heat escaping or cold air penetrating the insulation.
SIG Insulations Technical Teams can provide U-Value Tables, which provide a quick and easy reference guide to the thickness of insulation required to meet the required U-Values for Walls, Floors and Roofs.
